Jane's Testimonial

"Just recently attended Alan's Pastel weekend workshop and have come away with so much knowledge and techniques, from producing great backgrounds to building up layers to get depth in your work. Alan is a great tutor, easy to understand and happy to share his techniques with his demo's, there's a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. I felt relaxed and learn't so much from these two days, Alan really helps you improve on your skills and confidence. The studio is well lit, very spacious and a great space to work in, I would definitely recommend Alan's workshops to artists of all levels."

Scott's Testimonial

“Under Alan's tutelage I am beginning to grasp the elements of drawing and  painting - and having lots of fun. Alan is a warm, friendly teacher and has been  able to help me greatly in the mediums of pencil, charcoal and oil. My goal is  to paint portraits in oils, and with Alan's guidance I am confident I can achieve this."

David's Testimonial

"In the 14 months I have been to Alan's classes I have learnt so much with his guidance and knowledge he has brought me on from a frustrated I want to paint, to a point where I now believe I can paint.
His classes have a very good relaxed atmosphere and a good relationship is soon made with Alan's open and friendly approach. Your help over the past 14 months has been greatly appreciated."

Chris's Testimonial

"I started drawing lessons with Alan with a belief that I was not very good.  Alan's teaching has given me a new found confidence in myself and my ability and I am now, after only 5 months, able to create accurate and detailed drawings which I never thought that I could achieve."

Eileen's Testimonial

"During 7 years of formal art training I never really "learned" how to draw and spent my time developing 3D techniques. At my first drawing lesson with Alan it was as if someone had switched on a light!  His teaching technique is great, and all of a sudden things became clear, and I could understand for the first time what I was supposed to be doing." Eileen Maspero, Decima Design
