Title: Beguiling.
This is a pastel painting on Claire Fontaine pastel mat peach coloured paper.
The under paint for the skin is dark purple/red. I then applied burnt umber and red for the dark areas and covered the whole area in yellow ochre. The highlighting was in yellow/cream with some white (I never use too much white as it can look 'chalky')
